John was admitted to the hospital tonight and was diagnosed with pneumonia as a result of covid. Thankfully, he will be on a med-surg floor instead of requiring ICU. Let’s pray for a quick and speedy recovery for John. Mary is stable and her lungs are slowly improving. She had a rough day of vent weening and adjusting (she is still sedated and on the ventilator, but they are trying to ween her settings down) we are praying that she turns a corner and starts making greater strides towards healing very soon! They are both strong with so much to live for! Thank you all for everything you are doing to help our family. The donations, prayers and positive thoughts are so appreciated ❤️

Mary is continuing to improve and show us positive signs that she’s fighting hard! Our prayers are being answered. Please keep them coming! We’ve increased the goal per the request of her work family... Johns retirement doesn’t kick in until February and being a weekend program nurse, Mary does not receive any sick or PTO time. We are so grateful for everyone’s generosity. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Mary is a mother of four, a new grandmother, sister, and an ICU nurse who has been taking care of Covid patients since the start of the pandemic. She now has contracted Covid, and is fighting for her life in the ICU. Her husband, John also tested positive for Covid, but has been recovering at home. He was set to retire Dec. 23rd, 2020, however, since his diagnosis, he was forced to retire early. Your donations will go towards household bills and medical expenses.
