Mary would never ask for help, but she needs us!

Mary Phillips, our wonderful, self-employed nail tech, had a little mishap that is going to set her back financially. She tripped over a cord and fell over the last weekend while visiting her son in Texas. She has a buckle fracture near her elbow, a busted lip and her knees are bruised and swollen.

With this type of fracture, she will not be able to do our nails and will definitely be off work for two weeks. After two weeks, they will look it over and see how it is healing. So, her time off work could be longer. When Mary isn't working, as a small, self-employed, business owner, that means this can be a very real financial struggle.

We all know that Mary would NEVER ask for help and certainly would not expect a Go Fund Me Account to be set up for her. But, during a time like this, I know her clients will all rise up and come to her aid because that is who we are! We are a community that cares about our neighbors and friends. We wouldn't want a fall and time off work to end up closing her hair and nail salon down. We help each other when a need arises.
