Maryann Hadley Ovarian Cancer

Hello everyone, first and foremost thank you for taking the time to visit this page. In March of this year, my sweet Aunt Maryann was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer, a diagnosis that my family has been cautiously hopeful about since. Maryann began chemotherapy treatments soon after, but recently received the devastating news that the cancer has spread to her bowels. For this reason, Maryann’s Oncologist instructed her to cease chemo until a hysterectomy can be performed. Unfortunately due to the severity of the tumors on her bowels, the procedure cannot be performed laparoscopically which in turn means that on top of already high piling medical expenses Maryann will have be unable to work for an extended period of time- leaving her husband, my Uncle George, the sole provider of income. Maryann’s surgery is scheduled for Monday,  August 5th. I am accepting donations through this page on their behalf to help with impending medical expenses and life expenses while she recovers and fights this horrifying disease. We hope to put some of the funds towards throwing a Spaghetti dinner in benefit of the Hadley family in the coming months, with any leftover funds from this gofundme directly benefiting the family. Our family has always been close, Maryann has been an integral part of the Hadley family for over 40 years and this news has broken our hearts. We remain steadfast and hopeful that Maryann will come out on the other side of this fight stronger and healthy. Maryann has not had an easy life as she has been battling Crohn’s Disease since she was a young girl.
