MARYANN LOCORRIERE’S FIRE RELIEF FUND
Donation protected
Hello
Two days ago, on Thursday December 14, 2023, my mother’s (MaryAnn Locorriere, aged 73) duplex in Goshen, NY burned. The neighbors in her duplex left several candles burning. Although the fire completely gutted her neighbor’s dwelling, almost everything my mother owns is either ruined from smoke and/or water damaged.
Luckily, my mother was not in danger or harmed as the fire started while she was at work at around noon.
But, she does have weeks, if not months of recovery issues ahead of her, as well as handling the trauma of losing almost everything she owns.
To make things even worse, she was supposed to fly from NY to TN today (Saturday) for a week of holiday time with her grandson (Denton) and me (Jessejames).
Those plans cannot now happen as she is buried in insurance calls/claims while also dealing with the trauma of losing almost everything she owns.
The Red Cross currently has her set up in a hotel until Tuesday and gave her a few hundred dollars for basic needs.
But, after Tuesday, my mother is without a home and without virtually everything she owns.
I have faith that everything (given these horrible circumstances) will work out and go as smoothly as it can.
I started this fundraiser because I do not want my mother to have to worry about anything that comes up…
If you are able, please donate a few dollars.
It would mean the world to me and, moreover, my mother.
