Mary Van Becelaere's Memorial Fund

My daughter Mary was diagnosed with Psuedotumor Cerebri or false brain tumor (a buildup of fluid on the brain), 3 years ago. The condition was being managed through medication and by professional doctors. On Monday, August 15th, Mary sought emergency medical treatment and during transportation suffered from a severe grand mal seizure that ultimately took Mary's life. Mary was just 24 years of age, a daughter, sister and friend much to young to lose. Our family is devastated and in shock over our daughter's sudden unexpected passing. We take comfort in knowing that Mary was a child of God and had great Faith in Christ Jesus and sharing her Faith with all those she connected with. Mary was also a very caring, and compassionate person who was wise beyond her years. Mary provided care for children, taking special interest in her friends that were pregnant and single mothers of small babies. Providing shelter, love, and necessities needed for each person that she cared for. She was always helping someone whether she knew them or not. Mary was born and raised in Independence and has been here all 24 years. Mary graduated in 2010 from Truman High School in Independence, Missouri. She is survived by her Mother Lora Scassellati, Father Ted Van Becelaere, Step-Father Chris Scassellati and Step-Mother Julie Van Becelaere, and her 9 siblings, Joshua Van Becealere, Joseph Van Becelaere (married to Cristina Van Becelaere), Jacob "Jake" Van Becelaere (married to Ashley Van Becelaere), Marcus Van Beceleaere, Rachael Van Becelaere, Rebekah Van Becelaere, Jerry Eddings (married to Amanda Eddings) , Mickey Eddings (married to Natalie Eddings) and David Lawhorn as well as her beautiful 5 nieces.
Mary did not have life insurance, as this was totally unexpected. We are seeking the help of the community to support us through this loss and burden of financial hardship. That is why I am posting on Go Fund Me, my family needs your help in any way you are able or lead to help!
Thank you, Lora Scassellati (Mother of a sweet, loving and deeply missed daughter, Mary Irene, who will be forever loved and NEVER FORGOTTEN...) and family.
May God Bless You!
Deuteronomy 16:17 "Every man shall give as he is able, in accordance with the blessing which the Lord your God has given you."
