MARZ AWESUM TOP SURGERY FUND!!!!!

(9/2 update: thank you everyone for donating i dont know how to even express my gratitude for your kindness and everyone who shared too!! my surgery has actually been delayed to later this month (september 25) just wanted to post an update and say thanks!!)

hi my name is mars and i've been in the process of trying to get top surgery for the past 2-3 years.

i just finally had my top surgery consultation (7/11/23) and the surgeon estimated that it would take around a year to get me into actual surgery. yesterday morning (7/21) i got a call from my surgeon's scheduler offering to get me in this september. i accepted cuz this was the only opening there would be for months, however, i don't currently have enough saved to go through with the procedure, as i was expecting at least another six months to save money. binding my chest for the past 4 years has started to really take a toll on my body, and as a result of that my dysphoria has gotten worse because i haven't been able to bind as much as i normally would.

the money in this fund will go towards surgery costs and anything leftover will be used to help with recovery (ex: traveling expenses to get to my follow-up appointments, medication, etc)
