Mashala Shelter emergency fund
Donation protected
Mashala Shelter is an animal shelter based in Nabatiyeh, a town in southern Lebanon. It's home to 300+ stray and abandoned dogs, as well as 50 cats.
This animal refuge is run by one man, Houssein Hamze, a true hero who has been fully dedicated to this humane cause since 2006.
However, at this critical time in Lebanon, Houssein needs our help! Lebanon is on the brink of a war, which may extend across the region.
Every day, Houssein drives to nearby towns to try to secure food for the dogs, putting his life at risk in the process. Because of the security situation and uncertainty, Mashala Shelter hasn't been receiving much donations. We need to stock up on dry food and have extra funds to cover the shelter's numerous expenses, such as water, medicine, treatments, gasoline, pest control, among others.
Your support can ensure that Mashala Shelter continues to be a sanctuary of love, compassion, and second chances. The destiny of 300+ innocent souls depends on your donations, no matter how small.
