Masjid e A’liya
Asalamualykum Wa RahmatuLah
JazakaAllah Khair for all your generous
donations. May Allah reward each and every
one of you for your donations and Duas.
On behalf of the family, we are ever so grateful.
Due to the overwhelming response from you all as an ummah
as well as a community, we will be increasing
the project to be able to now fund for:
- Education hubs within the Masjid’s (Madrasa)
- A local communal Well
- Qurans on her behalf for children/adults to be
able to read
And many more things to come!
This GoFundMe page is created for our beloved sister A’liya Lulat.
Where do I begin with describing who she was.. In fact, I do not want to write in past tense as A’liya remains very much alive in our hearts & minds more than ever.
She is a phenomenal person both inwardly and outwardly. A daughter, sister, wife, friend and an aunt so full of colour and life that she lights up a room just with just her presence.
A’liya always had the ability to change a bad situation into a humorous one. She could turn a room full of sad faces into smiling & gleaming ones. The friend who put you before herself, always. The heartbeat of the room.
A’liya is not an individual we have lost, but a movement that has bought muslims together.
She is a force that has allowed people to reconcile, change for the better, and spread love and growth to the Ummah.
Alhumdulilah all this is a means of Sadqa e Jariyah for our Sister, إن شاء الله
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari)
Therefore, In the memory of Our A’liya we have decided the best way to honour her is to raise money to build Masjid’s in rural parts of the sub continent of Africa.
A Masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate, as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services. Beyond that, the role of the Masjid is to help people extend their knowledge of Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development.
By building a Masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with the necessity of a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue to flourish benefit and reward for our A’liya. I kindly urge all you brothers and sisters to donate in the name of Allah.
We Pray Allah gives anyone who reads this message firmness of Imaan and secondly the closeness of The Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
May we all meet in Jannah with our beautiful sister, A’liya.
