Introduction to our project
 
Our aims & goals At Al-Ansār Group

Our aim is to build a masjid that we hope serves the purpose of spreading Islam in the Philippines, we will build a masjid in one of the Muslim provinces in the Philippines with the help of the Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) charity which is renowned worldwide and has already built Masjids in the Philippines. We hope for this masjid to be a base for Muslims and non-Muslims to come and learn about Islam and spread it.
 
We are hoping to establish a full Tarbiyyah (developing) program in the Masjid that will help the local tribes and communities.
 
The Philippines is one of the poorest nations in the world. High levels of poverty, widespread unemployment, and little in the way of education mean many Muslims face a difficult existence.

In Mindanao, home to many of the country’s Muslims, many Muslims live on or below the poverty line. They have no land and, with much of the income derived from agriculture, struggle greatly.

Ummah Welfare Trust delivers relief projects on the Zamboangan peninsula, which is part of Mindanao. The charity builds masjids, supports orphans, and administers seasonal Islamic projects.

The masjid is the heart of any Muslim community. Providing much more than a place of worship, many offer education and are a base from which essential community services are delivered.
 
The first and foremost duty performed by the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam upon entering Madinah was to build a Masjid.
 
Ummah Welfare Trust builds new masjids or reconstructs damaged masjids in several countries. You can donate the whole cost of the masjid or part of it.
 
It is an excellent form of Sadaqah Jariyah as the donor can expect to receive rewards as long as people worship there.
 
A 100% Donations Policy
 
A 100% donation policy means every single penny donated is used strictly for charitable efforts. Donations go into a ‘charity-only’ bank account from which nothing is removed for fundraising or administration costs. Whether £1 or £100 therefore, every little helps!
