Mask Up

Mask Up is a student led organization based in Cambridge, MA that is working to increase access to and usage of homemade masks to slow the spread of the Coronavirus. We are currently working to provide Cambridge residents with free masks, especially those in vulnerable communities.
As you might have heard the CDC has recently found that 1 in 4 Coronavirus cases are asymptomatic. That means that 25% of infected people can go through their day unknowingly carrying the virus with them.
That is why it is so urgent to get masks to everyone who needs one, especially those who do not have the ability to practice strict social distancing and stay home every day.
In order to do this we need help purchasing fabric to sew into masks. Please consider pitching in to help us fund our work. Every mask that we get out to someone is potentially one less COVID case infecting new people.
