Maskoske Dairy Barn Fire.

My name is Julie and I am a friend of Ryan and Deana Maskoske.

On Saturday Jan 13, 2024 a fire occurred in the dairy barn on the Maskoske farm. As a result, 61 head of dairy cows & 5 baby calves perished and the barn burned to the ground. Thankfully, no one was injured trying to save their cows and barn. This beautiful family, of a 5th generation farm, had their livelihood go up in flames in 45 minutes. They watched everything they have worked for, including an amazing dairy herd burn right in front of them. They now have the daunting task of trying to figure out how to make a living as they wait on potential insurance and red tape. They have had to watch their life’s work being scraped up along with cows that died and sorting through the remains of their family farm.
