Masks for All SF 2.0

#MasksForAll 2.0 - We’ve got you covered.
We are looking to raise $5,000 to deliver 5,000 DIY-mask making kits to families in San Francisco.
Our first fundraiser, Masks For All 1.0 was a huge success and we are in the process of donating 3,000 masks to hospitals and essential workers.
Communities As One is building on that success to launch "Masks For All SF 2.0." to bring 7,000 masks to TWO core groups.
The first group is home bound families. The project will provide 5,000 face cover making kits to families and community members in San Francisco to make masks on their own. The team modeled their DIY-kit on a surgical mask designed with N95 filtering strength. Making masks at home can be a beneficial project for students and young people who are currently sheltered-at-home.
The second group is non-healthcare workers who serve in essential services. The project is one of the few that deliver masks to these workers and will provide 2,000 masks to those who work in grocery stores and food-delivery service. The effort will help reduce sources of community spread.
Each mask worn is saying "I love you" to the immunocompromised, to the vulnerable populations like elders and children, and to you and me.
How you can help:
(1) Donate to get us to $5000 for 5,000 DIY Kits and to buy additional N95 masks.
(2) We are currently looking for volunteers to help distribute masks to essential workers and get the mask-making kits to families in need. Please contact us at [email redacted] if you would like to volunteer.
The Masks For All project is part of a larger effort to highlight Asians’ contributions in the United States. Learn more at https://masksforallsf.com
Other ways to help:
We are currently looking for volunteers to help distribute masks to essential workers and get the mask-making kits to families in need. We believe this is a beneficial project for students and young people who are currently sheltered-at-home. Contact us via email: info at CommunitiesAsOne dot org
