Masks For Good
Donation protected
Campaign Highlights:
- Hospital workers on the frontlines of the Coronavirus are desperate for safety equipment and PPE such as masks, gloves, gowns, face shields and more, due to a nationwide shortage
- We raised $40,000 in ten days - and with the first $20,000 we were able to secure an order of 10,000 KN95 masks to distribute to our local medical community. The next 10,000 masks are en route to hospitals across the country
- We started in Seattle, the epicenter of the virus, and are now donating to hospitals in New York, Chicago, and California
- This is a donation-based program, all donations go directly to the sourcing and distribution of masks. We’re asking for your help in supporting this cause.
------------------------
Masks for Good is a donation program to get PPE into the hands of healthcare providers fast. Most hospitals are facing critical shortages of PPE.
Our community medical professionals are currently treating patients without protective masks, gloves, and more and are putting their lives in danger, daily, to help people. It’s on us, to help them.
“We are reusing our n-95’s, because they can’t provide them to us. Coworkers are getting sick now. And getting tested. It’s hard. This is hard. We are not prepared for what’s to come.” - Anonymous
“I was given one mask and told not to lose it.” - Anonymous
We raised $30,000 in a week. With the first $20,000 of those funds, we purchased 10,000 masks and distributed them to Harborview Medical Center, Swedish, Seattle Children's Hospital, Tacoma General, and Virginia Mason.
We need your support to pay for more masks and additional PP and get them into the hands of the nurses, doctors, and medical providers who need them.
This is an urgent need, in a life-threatening situation. The more money we raise, the broader our reach.
Our donations are being tracked by an accounting firm in Bellevue, to ensure that all proceeds go directly to the purchase and distribution of the masks. No one, except the manufacturer, is profiting from this.
The bottom line: our healthcare workers are putting their lives on the line to save the lives of people we love. We are all in this together, and our work is a drop in the bucket, but drops add up.

How To Help:
Trilogia has committed $10,000 to kick-off the fund. Our goal is to reach as many people as possible and get these masks to the front lines as quickly as possible.
If you can’t donate that’s okay. Another way you can help is to share this fundraising initiative on your social channels, with your friends, and your family.
How the funds will be used:
All funds donated will be used to purchase PPE for health care professionals.
All funds will be deposited into a bank account audited by an independent 3rd-party to ensure extreme transparency in the process of funding, as well as during the purchasing and distribution of the masks.
It’s important to let you know 100% of the funds donated will go directly to the purchase and distribution of the PPE. No one involved, besides the manufacturer, is profiting from this campaign.
How quickly can we help?
This is an urgent matter, there are already reports of shortages within the medical community for masks and other PPE. Beyond that, there are reports of shortages from the manufacturing side. As more donations come in, we'll continue to order PPE to support our healthcare community. It will take some time (days, not months) to get the shipment from the manufacturer. We started with masks in Seattle and the more money we raise, the broader our reach will be.
From putting in the initial purchase order to having the PPE delivered, the time frame is around 10-15 days.
Why this is important
This is about protecting those who protect us and the people we love. It's about making a difference, and using the resources we have on hand to benefit the greater good. Personally, it is about feeling empowered, knowing that we did one small thing to help.
Thank you!
We’re grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to the people who are risking their lives to keep our community and those we love safe and healthy. We’re also grateful for everyone in the community who in times of turmoil help each other.
About PPE Quality & Disclaimer:
One of our core competencies is vetting the manufacturers we work with to ensure we are procuring the highest quality products. This said, these are extraordinary times, and extra precautions must be made. Please note this is a fluid situation and as such, can not assume any liability. We will try our best to source these masks as professionally as possible. We expressly disclaim any liability or responsibility for the quality or effectiveness of any PPE.
Mask Quantity Disclaimer:
Because supplies of KN95 / N95 respirators vary daily, we can not guarantee that we can purchase unlimited masks.
In order of importance (how we’ll be purchasing):
N95 - Currently Sold Out (we will continue sourcing, and if we find a reputable source, we purchase them)
KN95 - Currently available, for the time being
Surgical masks - Currently available, for the time being
We expressly disclaim any liability or responsibility for the failure to use all funds to acquire and distribute Masks.
If for some unforeseen reason we are unable to procure the masks or if we have any remaining funds, we will donate un-allocated funds to a national charity. If you have an opinion on which charity to choose, please e-mail us at [email redacted]
Unforeseen reasons include:
Export / border shutdowns
Suppliers selling out prior to us raising the funds
Note: our goal is to place orders long-term, because this disease is a long-term, global problem.
