Masks for Manhattan

Hello, 

My friend Lauren is a registered nurse in New York. She’s been working hard to look after people in a covid unit in Manhattan . Her and her friends don’t have enough masks to protect them from getting sick. So I’m going to shave my head to raise money so they can buy masks and other PPE gear. For reference, $6000 will buy about 1000 masks. 

I'll be donating the money to the hospital my friend works at. The money will go to NYU Langone Hospital and I’ll put the money directly into their Covid donation site which is this one: https://nyulangone.org/give/funds/covid-19

It’s a really scary time for the health care workers who are out there being superheroes and they need our help right now. If you can spare a few dollars that would be a big help also you’ll get to see me shave my head so that’ll be pretty funny.

This is obviously an emergency situation for them so we're going to try raise the money as quickly as we can. I'm going to just do this for one week, then the shaver comes out.
