Mason Gibson

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Mason Gibson, a 5th-grade student at Hope Academy passed away this past Saturday, March 25th, 2023. There are no words to express the emptiness that we all feel in the halls without him. Mason brought life, love, and laughter to every teacher and student that he interacted with. He was always ready to greet you with a smile. His kindness and his gentle spirit were comforting and welcoming to many new students this year. He made new students feel welcomed and made sure they know they belonged and they were wanted. That was just who he was. His smile was infectious and when he was near, you didn’t feel so alone. Mason loved Dinosaurs and Legos, and if you were lucky enough to catch a few extra minutes with him he would tell you all about Anime and his favorite shows and characters.

It is our desire, as the families of other Hope students, to come alongside and support Mason's family during this time in the best way we can. The family has asked for help with finances as they navigate paying for a funeral and other financial needs. Our goal is to raise 10,000, if you feel led please help us reach this goal in Mason's memory!

We will forever remember Mason and he will forever be a HOPE Eagle!
