Medical Expenses & Recovery Support

Hi. My name is Michelle and our family is fundraising for my 27 year old nephew, Mason Himebaugh's medical expenses, recovery care & expenses to get back on his feet.

In the early hours of October 26th, 2023, my nephew and his family's home in Lowell, MI was engulfed in flames. In Mason's attempt to rescue his 4 year old son, Noah, he suffered very severe smoke inhalation, burnt lungs and severe external burns throughout his head, face, chest, back and both arms. His son, his everything, Noah, passed away in the fire.

Mason is currently in the ICU fighting for his life. He does not have health or medical insurance. Please find it in your heart to donate towards his medical care. Every single dollar helps and is appreciated.

This is going to be a very long haul of recovery.

**UPDATE 10/30/2023**

Thank you for the overwhelming support and prayers for Mason. Mason has made some great strides over this past weekend. He has weaned off the ventilator, became cognitive and alert, able to talk with us and doing well with his therapy.

Mason still has a long, long road of recovery. The expectation is 3-5 major surgeries due to the burns with healing and therapy. Please continue to keep him and family in your thoughts and prayers. They're working!!!!
