Mason's Education Fund

On Thursday, January 28, 2016 heaven gained a  very special angel.  Chris Akers went to be with the Lord and left behind a beautiful family which includes his infant son Mason.  Chris' mother, Joann, is my best friend and I have known Chris since he was about 4 years old.   He has often called me his second Mom and it is a title that I will treasure always.  I know first hand how much he loved his precious Mason, his beautiful wife Christina, his parents Joann and Bob Welniak, his sister, brother, grandmother, all of his and Christina's families and friends.  He was a very Blessed man!

This fund is not something the family has asked me to set up but I do have their permission.  Many have asked me if there is a way they can donate that will go directly to his family.   This money is for his son Mason's education and 100 % of what we receive will be placed in an account for Mason.  My hope is that Mason will one day know, by this amazing gift, how much his daddy was loved by all that knew him.  And that Mason will feel especially Blessed in the ability to better his education thanks to his father who loved him so very very much!
