Mason's Funeral Arrangements

Dear family, friends, and our community,

 

With such saddened hearts, we created this GoFundMe campaign for Mason Dominguez. The events leading up to and surrounding his death have caused unimaginable pain, grief, and heartache his mom and family hoped never to feel. We are at a loss for words and have been going through many intense emotions over the past few days.

 

In a short four years, Mason Dominguez left his imprint on our hearts forever. This sweet child had a precious little voice, an upbeat attitude, and a laugh that would melt your heart. If you were blessed to meet him, you knew he was this sensitive soul who could do no wrong. Those big brown eyes and golden curls would captivate anyone. Mason was so bright and loved to learn. At the age of 3, he had known all his letters and numbers. He enjoyed swimming at his grandma's house, ready to jump into the pool any chance he had. He was so fearless, counting down 3-2-1 before making that giant leap into the water. Not only did Mason love swimming, but he also loved to shoot the basketball and was so good at making the shot. His love for Paw Patrol, PJ Mask, and Sonic was unmatched.

 

Mason was greatly loved by so many from the moment he entered this world. He loved his family and even created nicknames for those closest to him - Auntie Nana, Uncle Choo Choo, and Auntie Neese. Mason frequently told his mom how much he loved her and how beautiful she was. He'd also sign "I love you," which he learned from his dad. We will forever remember this sweet and precious little boy and cherish all these wonderful memories we have of him. Our family knows that Mason is in Heaven with his daddy, dancing and playing forever.

 

 

Losing a young child is never easy, and as a family, we are trying to navigate this new life without Mason one day at a time. This is a devastating time for our family. We also know that our friends and community greatly grieve alongside us. Thank you all for the love, support, and much-needed prayers that have been poured out onto us.

 

We love you Mason and miss you so much.

NOTE: As many have now become aware, Mason’s father passed last year, putting a tremendous financial and emotional strain on the mother and her immediate family. Mason’s grandmother was battling cancer the year prior, another financial setback for our family. Please know that all funds have and will be used for the intended purpose. Donations from this campaign will be used to fund Mason Dominguez’s funeral arrangements, which are already in process. These arrangements can only be made by the next of kin, which is his mother.
