Prince Hall Temple Renovation
Tax deductible
The Prince Hall Masonic Temple, also known as the Second Masonic District, is located in the East New York section of Brooklyn, N.Y. Our fraternity as well as our Sister Chapters are primarily made up of men and women of color. The main objective of our fraternity is to promote a brotherhood of like minded men, in the pursuit of living a moral and virtuous life so that we can be role models both in our homes and communities. Our community programs and initiatives include feedings and clothing drives that serve meals to 10 homeless shelters in the immediate area every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, free mammograms, a police and community outreach program, a back to school book bag and school supplies drive, a distressed barrel initiative which provides food and clothing to the less fortunate around the world and our youth group the Knights of Pythagoras.
At this time our temple is in need of repairs in the following areas: men and women restrooms, the facade of the building and the ballroom which is our main source of income. As an anchor of the community for the last 46 years and one of the few places where men, women and in particular our youth can find a place to help better themselves, we humbly ask for your assistance in our endeavor to repair our building. Your support will allow us to continue to be a positive force in our community!
