Helping Kim and her girls with the loss of Mason

On June 18th family and friends gathered together to watch my sister Kim and Mason exchange vows and became husband and wife. No one would have known that 3 months later Kim would be bringing Mason back to the same place as their wedding to say goodbye for the last time. On September 15th Mason passed away with Kim and family by his side.

Less than a month after the wedding Mason had been admitted to the hospital extremely sick and spent the last 2.5 months in and out of different hospitals fighting for his life. Kim was still working everyday, as well as taking care of her girls, but always found the time to be there by her new husband’s side giving him all the support she had.Unfortunately, as Mason’s health continued to decline, Kim hasn’t been able to work for the last couple of weeks. She needs to be able to continue to be on leave so she and her girls are able to take some time to be able to grieve this tremendous loss that they are experiencing.

However, as we all know, the bills don’t stop coming though. Mason loved the girls as if they were his own, and absolutely loved and adored my sister. He told her before he passed away that he knew they would be okay. And I believe he knew that,besides Kim and the amazing strength she has, that both of them have family and friends that will step up and help out anywhere we can. So with that, I am raising funds to help financially support Kim and the girls for the time that they need. Money will be going to her bills(rent, utilities,car payment,phones,insurance etc.), going towards Mason’s celebration of Life Ceremony, and to help cover whatever else may come up.
