Mass Flooding in Qardho, Somalia

As-Salamu Alaykum.

Ramadan Mubarak to every single one of you. May Allah bless you continuously during this time inshallah. It saddens me to even write this, but late last night there was a Mass Flood in Qardho. 

Qardho, also known as Gardo, is a city in the northeastern Bari region of Somalia. Part of Puntland State.

There has been confirmed 6 deaths ( إِنَّا لله وانا إِلَيْهِ راجعون) and 10 are currently missing. This hits so close to home. Many are left homeless and without a home to go back to. Shops and places of business are destroyed.  This is extremely heartbreaking. Allah is the best planner and the only thing we can do is help in whatever way we can. My family and I would like to raise money for the people of Qardho with the help of you all. This will assist with the aid of families and people who were affected by this tragedy. 

Allah is the best planner. All we can do is make dua and come together to help our people during these unprecedented times.
