Mastectomy & Breast reconstructive surgery

Hey, I’m Alex! I’m a 26-year-old Atlanta native who decided to take my health into my own hands. My mother and my aunt were both were diagnosed with breast cancer in the early 30s. I watched my mother and my aunt both suffer tremendously. I witnessed my aunt pass away from it and it almost take my mother for me. I have decided to go ahead with prophylactic surgery to lower my chances of developing breast cancer and later on ovarian and uterine cancer. I undergo a double mastectomy and breast reconstructive surgery at the end of this month. I am not one to ask for help, especially right now during these difficult times. However, it takes a tribe to get through this life and I am asking for support from my tribe.❤️
