Masters World Cup, Cape Town 2022

As hockey is an amateur sport we don't get any funding so we have to find the funds ourselves. The money will be used to cover the cost of flights and accommodation for the tournament which has already been cancelled the last 2 years due to covid.

I've been playing hockey for about 36 years and represented Wales at under 15, under 16, under 18 and under 21 level and more recently over 40's.

We are also playing in the Home Nations at the end of June in Swansea. We will have to pay for accommodation in Swansea and also purchase new playing shirts and kit for the World Cup so money that I had for the original flight is now being used to cover these extra costs.

For those of you who know me I'm passionate about my hockey and this is a huge opportunity for me to represent my country at a World Cup.
