Mastro's OC Boston Employee Relief Fund

The coronavirus pandemic has brought all of our lives to a screeching halt.  Our beloved bars and restaurants have been asked to close their doors for in dining to protect the safety and welfare of the public.  We have continued to offer takeout and delivery in hopes we can still bring a little bit of Mastro's joy to your home, sparking a smile in a time of great crisis.  This is just a small token of our appreciation for all the support you have showed us since we opened our doors in the beautiful Seaport District in June of 2017.

Now, as a result of COVID-19, people who rely on hourly wages and those relying solely on tips are suffering, having seen their daily income and jobs all but disappear overnight.  We employ close to 80 wonderful service industry people, all of whom find, as most do right now, the uncertainty of the future terrifying and the financial loss devastating. 

Government relief efforts are in the works or in place, but many have been left out in the cold unable to find any relief and many of us may not have enough to get through what could realistically be months, not weeks. 

We are reaching out now to ask for your consideration in making a donation. Every dollar counts, no donation is too small - or simply sharing this post - could have a large impact on the livelihood of our employees.  We intend on distributing the funds equally among all the hourly and tipped employees of Mastro's and I will be personally responsible for doing so.  The funds we are able to provide will help to ease some of the financial burden being unable to work at this time.  We sincerely thank you in advance for your generosity, compassion and support in this unprecedented time of crisis.
