Final Step to Mata Home, Health & $ Success

Latest UPDATE: 5/2/23
Final Step to Normalcy
Asking for your blessings for our coming biz launch.
Bhima (holding Mata in video), Bhava (his mom in white sari with gold designs) and Narihari (tall, dashing fellow dancing with Maharaj) have covered the cost of Mata’s in-home care over these last 5 months. It’s cost them tens of thousands.
Their kind donations have proven the difference between Mata living or passing. In turn, Mata has finally begun developing her sadhana and other spiritual practice for the first time in many years. Please offer your blessings for Bhima, Bhava and Narihari for their kindness in Mata’s hour of need.
Their help also allowed me time to complete the different parts of my new biz venture: Tesla’s Million-Mile Warranty.
- Patent filed
- Website is up,
- rough draft of the Prospectus completed,
- rough draft of the book completed
- manual started,
- video 1 completed
- videos 2, and 3 in production, video 4 script completed
- Now time to take this out to investors, small biz loan applications and other such promotional steps.
I’m once again asking for donations to help bridge us through this final step of recovery from the last couple of years disasters.
Your generous donations of $4,000 over this last year allowed us to..
- get our home back from Mata’s ex (recorded in March),
- finalized Mata’s divorce (also in March),
- stabilize Mata’s health,
- fill the house with quality tenants for steady income ($600 on pest control, and other such costs of upgrades, etc) and
- put this and other biz projects together.
However, the divorce and associated costs left me $90k in debt and its $1,600 monthly payments for those loans - in addition to the other $2,000 worth of household expenses.
Now looking to either
- refinance the house, (have to file last taxes, and other such expenses) or
- get a partner in it (multi-residential),
- a small biz (gov’t) loan for our project or
- find an investor in our biz.
- If none of these work, I will have to sell the house.
Hope to avoid selling now because our home has commercial zoning. That should double the value of this property over the next few years.
However, selling now would rap up our life here of the last 35 years and allow us to walk away debt free and financially solvent – for the first time in a decade. So I will begin advertising our home for sale in the next few weeks - should these other options not pan out.
You're welcome to review and join any of the prospects mentioned above as well.
- We are offering 30% annual rate of return - for a $100k co-signed loan against our $350k equity (over 3 years at which time take in home equity or cash).
- Will offer 100% annual interest in company stocks should you be interested to invest in our biz (with the house as collateral).
- Will offer 20% for any ‘donations’ given now - before the sale of the house or the success of getting loans or investors.
- Should the biz take off, everyone (donating) get company stock proportionate to their donation. Our thank-you to all those in our hour of need.
In other words, consider any further contribution you make now to be more a loan than a donation. We now have assets to back up such help and expect one or more of the options to pull through - soon.
A (few) thousand dollars at this juncture will allow us to finalize one of these above prospects without going bankrupt. Yes, now bouncing checks and utility cancelations. Bankruptcy would be unfortunate because it would force a fire sale and so lose a (couple) hundred thousand in pricing power.
I’ve made it through this very tough last year and a half. This final step will allow me to finally cross over to the other side of prosperity, financial freedom, and career success.
Thank you again to all those who have helped us along and made these coming opportunities possible.
Below is the website for our new biz: Million-Mile Warranty.
The financials on our home are also available upon request.
Yours but the picture of your own prayers, blessings, and generosity,
Raghu Giuffre

Latest update: 12/9/22
Great news! Mata added 11 pounds – 68 to 79.4 in the last 6 weeks. (top right) House should be returned to Mata by this time next week. New homecare aid improving Mata’s health. (top left) This care allowed me time to complete and file the Patent for our new biz. Donors will be entered as investors to it – if they wish. (bottom right) Mata’s biographer set to complete her life story. Mata’s spiritual life finally gaining traction. My dear friends, you have much to show for all your kind blessings and donations.
This week has been the culmination of all the big things on hold this year: Mata’s health, return of our home, launch of my biz and Mata’s biography re-lauch.
• The lawyer sent the paperwork this week for her husband to sign over the house and finalize the annulment. A divorce would have left Arnold a legal bill of $25k and a court record of fraud. The annulment saves him from both. Gather he will sign off.
• It’s been a long journey of 10 months and $25k in legal fees. All made possible by Bob’s kind loan of $20k. (top center, blue shirt, Uncle indeed) Bob Tiburzi.
• Bhava and Narihari sponsored Mata’s homecare - 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. (bottom left: Barbara Nijensohn). Careworker’s name is Rae. She has done wonders in stabilizing Mata’s regimen for meals, meds, and health routines such as beach, walks, dining and shopping. The added activity has boosted Mata’s spirits and filled her days with far more activity - fun. This has been a great supplement to Mata's Hospice care: Keala & Sincerely. (top left) The program was organized by Bhava’s son and daughter: Bhima & Amrita Mckenzie (top middle)
• This homecare allowed me time to complete and file the Patent for our new product: Tesla’s Million-Mile Warranty. Hope to have the biz launched by February 2023. Mind my slow response. My writing time used to complete the biz Prospectus, its book, and the social media campaign. (Patent notice - bottom right) https://duratechauto.com/
• This new lease on life has allowed Mata to restart her spiritual practice for the first time in years – from chanting Japa meditation, some reading, and deity offerings once more. Arnold, her soon-to-be ex, was her last big attachment to the world. His fraud broke the spell and so allowed her a new resolution of heart and purpose. The outpouring of blessings, visitations, donations, and all manner of healing specials allowed Mata to bond once more with old kin – missing for so long. (bottom middle: Gaurangi Jones)
• The $1,200 a month in donations allowed us to meet the challenges of this court case, Mata's health, upgrade our rentals ($600 on pest control, 12 rats in 2 weeks). All rooms rented for the first time in a year - great tenants.
Another month of such donations should get us over the finish line. For example, get my real estate license or other such work-related prospects.
You came together to save your dear friend, Mata, and this not-so-humble servant. Raghu G

A Facebook post about Mata's condition as a dwindling 73-pound Grandma inspired a dozen or so friends to offer help and so present GoFundME for those wishing to step forward now.
I’ve been Mata’s primary caretaker and sole financial provider for a half decade. I’ve reached a financial breaking point given this recent, terrible set back. Friends offered to be some help.
The fundraiser has 4 Categories. You can chose to sponsor a particular area.
1) Divorce and Saving House = $10,000
2) Comfort and Recovery = $3,000
3) Legacy - Biography & Video = $4,000
4) Maintenance = $3,000
Total: $21,000
1) Court Case: Divorce – Offering Lien on 2nd Property for Loans
We have the resources to tend to Mata with the $400,000 worth of equity on our half-million dollar home. It only has a $150k mortgage against a price of $550,000.
Unfortunately, Mata's new, foreign-born husband transferred the house out of our family trust and put the deed in his name.
Mata thought he was going to set up an LLC to convert our home into a senior care home. We have the zoning for it. Instead, he transferred the house over into his name and out of reach for us to reclaim.
Getting a divorce is the easy remedy. It will then allow us to access all that home equity for Mata's care thereafter - and repay any loans.
It's an obvious case of elderly abuse and fraud. We just need to get this in front of a judge. They don't look kindly upon elder abuse and fraud. It also falls before the first year of a marriage of a foreign immigrant’s citizenship application. It’s an easier divorce much like dividing of the marital assets in Mata’s favor.
I had 2 properties. The house was just the first. I also have second, home lot in front of our house. I own that as well. I’m offering this second house lot as collateral for the loans offered towards these legal fees. We can place a lien on this land. Offering 30% against the loan.
2) Comfort and Recovery
In the meantime, we are looking for the resources to boost Mata's healthcare regimen now.
This fraud was crushing to Mata’s heart, but it did awaken the old warrior. She is applying herself in ways she has not done before. We are therefore looking for ways to facilitate her new found motivation. The great news: it’s showing some results. We can build on this.
The center-piece has been her quick dips in the ocean 3 or 4 times a week. The cold, fresh, mountains' spring water meets the ocean at this beach and done wonders for her.
The cold water sends her heart racing, lungs pumping, new blood flowing, and appetite soaring. She has eaten 4 x more - a whole pancake vs a ¼ and then slept 15 hours that night. Without these ocean dips, fairly certain Mata would have passed away months ago. It's truly the Fountain of Youth.
We wanted to build upon this success with acupuncture, superfood smoothies, massage and more nutrient dense diet.
3) Legacy - Biography & Video = $4,000
In addition, I hired a writer to compile Mata's life story. Did this when I still had access to the home equity (before the marriage in December and the house stolen).
Kate, the writer, has now completed most of it. It will take about $1,000 more to finish. And then the cost of printing and layout. For those that would like to help in this regard, that would be a fitting tribute to Mata. I listed a budget of $3,000, maybe be able to do so for less. If there is any further interest, we have a video producer willing to do a small documentary of her for $1,500.
4) Maintenance = $3,000
And finally, we are coming up short on household expenses. Electric here is $500 a month now. About $150 of that for Mata’s oxygen machines and added laundry for diapers, etc. We WERE 5 months behind on electric.
Mata’s new husband stepped in for 2 months to ‘manage’ the house and instead got into a grudge match with the tenants. No rent for 4 months from them. Rooms are now full so we can finally begin to stabilize financially.
We are just $800 behind on electric now and catching up with other such expenses. Any help here would help us back into the black.
4 Areas of Help: Thank you.
These are the 4 areas to sponsor. In whatever capacity you care to help will have an immediate impact. And again, if you want this to be a loan against my second property, we have the equity value for that as well. In other words, we do have the resources in both my second property even if we don't win the first property and our house back.
These are the costs for the next 3 months – the anticipated time it takes to complete the divorce.
Thank you for all the love you have shared here and throughout the years.
With much Aloha,
Yours in loving service,
Raghu Giuffre in dedication to Mata
1) Comfort and Recovery = $3,000
You can pick any one of these to sponsor individually or volunteer for their equivalent.
A) 10 Acupuncture Sessions @ $100 each, 2 months = $1,000
(Happy for those that would volunteer the service instead)
B) Purium Super Food Smoothie program
$100 a month, 3 Month Supply - $300
Or take those that have extra. Better than other protein shakes & she likes them.
C) Great Meals
Mata eats more volume from the health food café than my cooking. For example, buckwheat pancakes with brown rice-flower – she eats the whole thing. Durian Cacao Smoothie, fruit smoothies, etc.
3 meals out per week @ $20 x 3 Months = $700
Happy for any cooks that would like to volunteer (or pay for it) instead.
D) Teas – Use Sita’s Ushtaganda, Tumeric Ginger Mix, etc. $100 (3 months)
E) Noni – 2 bottles should last 2 months = $150.
F) Massage – I massage her 3 or 4 times a week with coconut oil when I take her to the beach, but she loves the work of others. Calms her nerves.
G) CBD Oil - $300, 3 months supply.
H) $70 x 8 weeks, for added food shopping = $600
Total is $3,000)
This 3 months will give us some idea how strong her recovery will be and if it is worth pursuing further.
2) Maintenance = $3,000 -Outlined above
3) Legacy - Biography & Video = $3,000 Outlined above
4) Divorce and Saving House = $20,000
A) $5,000 retainer for each attorney
a) Probate attorney
b) Divorce attorney,
c) Divorce may be possible to do on $5,000 budget, but the attorneys said we should be prepared to spend $20k. I'm starting with the $10,000 in retainers for now. That should be enough to have the courts assign a rep for Mata and see how good the prospects are for this divorce. If we need more $, can do another fundraiser to complete that.
My second property only has $60,000 of equity. The house has $400,000. Much more affordable to refinance the house with a 2nd mortgage. $50,000 loan cost just $300 a month. This would allow me to offer a 30% bonus against your loans – if/when we get the house back.
I will use my 2nd property as collateral against the loans. I will use the house – when we get it back – to refinance and repay the loan with a 30% bonus.
If for some bazaar reason, we lose the court case, we will sell the property. It has no value to me without the house next door. In other words, we have security if we lose, a bonus for loans if we win. We will have the funds thereafter to help with Mata's remaining care as well all those interested to be repaid.
Example, Reverse Mortgage, 2nd Mortgage, Sell, etc.
Here's the details of our life and the help and prospects to recovery.
Of course, this is embarrassing to ask for this help. This was to be the year of grand success. I was planning to take that $50,000 loan against our $400k equity and upgrade to convert our home into a B&B. We have the zoning and in a prime location, here in town. A 4 Bedroom, 2 kitchen & 2 bathrooms would generate $300 a day = $8,000 to $12,000 a month. This was all to happen this Jan along with the solar panels once the house was to be handed over to me. Instead, Arnold took the house in February and so I face, yet another year of dreadful struggles. Now at the financial breaking point of this disaster. The blessings and help here may finally allow us to reach such stability.
For a larger loan amount of say $40k, we can set up an LLC with shares to the property. It's appraised at $90,000 with $30,000 loan. We can afford a $20,000 loan / lien and still have 45% equity on it.
And yes, we looked for pro-bono attorneys (island is short of attorneys). I also approached a (half) dozen other gov't agencies. You would think they would step in for cases like this - all have refused. Hence this final option now. It took 3 months to go through that gambit of agencies and 6 weeks looking for prospective attorneys.
Immigration related divorces are often easier to complete - 2 to 6 months. They cost between $5,000 to $20,000. Once the divorce is completed, we expect to have the house back.
