Mateo Alejandro Medical Assistance Funding

Hi everyone, my family is asking for assistance in funding for medical bills for my cousin's newborn son in Venezuela. Unfortunately as many people know Venezuela offers no healthcare benefits and lacks medical advancement leaving their poor baby to fight for his life. Baby Mateo Alejandro was born on November 21, 2023 prematurely and due to this has had a hard time with his health. As of now, baby Mateo is battling sepsis and is in the NICU on a ventilator. Doctors are not clear on what has caused this illness in him or on what the next steps would be. Mateo's mom and dad did not expect for any of this to happen and have not been able to come up with the financial means to get adequate testing required to advance his treatment. We are hopeful that with the correct treatments and help from our community baby Mateo will be able to overcome this difficult time and his parents will be able to move forward with a healthy baby.

Hola a todos, mi familia está pidiendo ayuda para financiar las facturas médicas del hijo recién nacido de mi prima en Venezuela. Desafortunadamente, como mucha gente sabe, Venezuela no ofrece beneficios de atención médica y carece de avances médicos, lo que deja a su pobre bebé luchando por su vida.El bebé Mateo Alejandro nació el 21 de noviembre de 2023 de manera prematura y debido a esto ha tenido problemas con su salud. A partir de ahora, el bebé Mateo está luchando contra la sepsis y está en condicion critica con una respiracion artifical. Los médicos no tienen claro qué le ha provocado esta enfermedad ni cuáles serían los siguientes pasos. La mamá y el papá de Mateo no esperaban que esto sucediera y no han podido conseguir los medios financieros para hacerse las pruebas adecuadas necesarias para avanzar en su tratamiento. Tenemos la esperanza de que con los tratamientos correctos y la ayuda de nuestra comunidad, el bebé Mateo podrá superar este momento difícil y sus padres podrán seguir adelante con un bebé sano.
