Mateo's medical emergency

Good afternoon everyone ! My name is Maria Morales; I’m a Colombian living in Canada in Montreal… we arrived to the country less than a month ago, im currently studying all day from monday to friday 8-6pm and I have not been able to work since I have nobody else to watch my son and the remote jobs i have applied for have not gone trough. My husband has not gotten his visa approved he is still in Colombia and is just us two here in Montreal alone. Sadly, my son who is only 6 years old had an accident Monday August 15th and broke his arm both bones his ulna and his radius with an open fracture, his bone opened his skin and there was bleeding, after a trip in an ambulance we arrived to the emergency room and after many test we were told he needed surgery, surgery was done and the doctors said it was more complicated than expected, he has wires, casts changes etc, we had to be hospitalized for more days and there is going to be physical therapy and many more doctor visits ahead of us.

We have insurance never the less the cost of all the hospital bill is much greater than the insurance limit.

As a mother there is nothing worse than seeing your son hurt and not being able to help, anything that you can do to help us is greatly appreciated it.
