Help Math 'n' Stuff with unexpected $40,000 repair

Hello Math 'n' Stuff friends and family,
After who knows how many decades it's been since our property's sewer line was fully inspected or met municipal code standards... Our bathroom *stopped* working and we brought in plumbers to quote a repair.
The initial bid was $10,000 to clean up the only part of the line that they could see during the initial scope due to a cave-in/build up of rock and debris. Once they tore through the foundation to clear that blockage, they found another 70 feet of deteriorated line out to Roosevelt and so the job (and the price tag) quadrupled.
It was already a rocky start to the year for in-store sales and after 3 years of pandemic, increased theft, vandalism, burglaries, repairs, security upgrades, and my mom's heart attack in April; our physical, emotional, and financial war chests are depleted. All that to say: this is a bigger blow than our family can shoulder on our own right now. If you're able to help, even just a little bit, we'd really appreciate it.
