My name is Amy, my brother Mathew who lost his life unexpectedly Tuesday, October 1st. He was 39 years old. Mathew and I shared the same dad. Matt was my big brother and he was all about family. As long as he was surrounded by someone he loved everyday of the week he was content. Growing up there wasn’t a day any of us siblings didn’t go without seeing eachother. Mathew had a personality that no one on this planet could match even when he was mad, he would make this face and his bottom lip would curl and his eyes would get big you had to laugh. Throughout his life he’s struggled and went through some very dark times but even then he tried to hide his suffering and still be with his family, he was all about love and making sure he never missed anything important. Mathew was very close to our gram and in fact spend most of his life living with her until she passed away in 2009, then he went to live with his mom
(Kelly) she was able to help mend his broken heart from losing someone so special to him and with his moms help he changed his whole life around, even went 15 + years clean and sober it was the best he ever felt physically. He even got his drivers license he never thought in a million years he would get one he was so happy that when he talked to someone the first thing out of his mouth was not “ hey how’s it going” it was you’ll never believe I got my drivers license, then it was hey how are you” he really was so special. He was so excited that this last year or so he wanted to explore and reconnect with old friends. Mathew, was happy, heathly and made us all proud of him, he left his moms house after reconnecting with an old friend and decided to move in and honestly, that was the biggest mistake of his life and ours! There was close calls on his end but he managed until now. When I received that call on Tuesday, October 1st and I could hear his mom’s voice crumbling in the background as my brother Richard tells me the horrible news my heart shattered in millions of pieces. I never wanted to believe that my brother who was very smart about stuff would lose his life. There’s no way that his purpose for life was over. He was only 39 years old he had something very special and dear to his heart that he was working on, that he will never be able to complete. I’ve been keeping in touch with his mom and she’s having the worst time of her life right now accepting the fact her baby passed away, she asked me if I would make this page to get help with some of the cost. Since this has happened Kelly hasn’t been able to work I mean how could she when she isn’t in her right state of mind there’s no way she can focus on anything right now other then try to heal and learn to live her life without her child in it. As I know money is tight for everyone right now we all ask for a little bit of help at some point in our lives, right now is our time. We all want him home with us. Anyone who donates, I can tell you that what is being asked of is just enough to help with some of the cost, Kelly and my dad aren’t expecting others to cover everything there just asking for some help.
if you can’t donate please share . I’ve helped many in there times of need wheather it was donating and sharing or just sharing. This is important to me and my whole family so please show me some love and support right now.
