Mati’s bone marrow transplant costs

Hi, my name is Abbie and I am helping fundraise for the costs associated with Mati’s bone marrow transfusion. Mati is the son of my cousin’s husband and lives in Mexico City. Mati suffers from Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD), also known as Bridges–Good syndrome. This disease is a rare immune deficiency disorder that impacts the bodies ability to fight infections. Thankfully he has found a match (marrow donor!) with the help of the Be The Match organization.

The total cost of the medical process is 50,000. Be The Match has donated 20,000 and the family is trying to raise the other 30,000 to cover expenses related to the procedure. The family must raise the money by July when the procedure is scheduled.
