Matson Family Support

Hi, my name is Whitney Franco and I am fundraising for my friend Christi Matson! Her father John Matson was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma cancer in August. It was in his kidneys, lungs, lymph nodes and brain. He underwent 10 radiation treatments and spent a month in the hospital and rehab. He was only home for a week before he was told to go to the ER again because his left side went weak. They found swelling in his brain. He started immunotherapy, which was to be an IV fusion every 3 weeks with a daily pill combo. Unfortunately he made a turn for the worse and he is being moved to hospice house for 5 days and then home to be cared for by his family for his remaining days! All of the treatment was extremely expensive and the family does not know what sort of medical bills will be coming in their future. The family appreciates all of the love and support from their family and friends so far during this difficult time.
