Hello my name is Stacey Golz and I am close friends with Matt Burroughs. As several of you know, on Wednesday March 27, Matt and Tammy were on their way to get ice cream for Tammy’s birthday. On their way, a van stolen by 3 individuals ran through a red light and crashed into their Ford Escape. Tammy and Matt were taken to the hospital where Tammy did not survive her injuries. Their last words to each other were “I love you”. Matt is trying to recover from his injuries, emotionally and physically. Matt has broken ribs, pelvis and hip. It is unknown what will be covered by insurance as he was hit by a stolen vehicle and he will not be able to work anytime soon. He is now on a long road to recovery. Please let’s help in anyway we can - every little bit will make a difference.
