Firefighter Matt Dawson

While working a northbound I-27 traffic accident this morning at Drew Street; a southbound vehicle lost control, crossed the median and struck two firefighters and one police officer.  Firefighter Matthew Kenneth Dawson, age 30, joined LFR on June 2nd, 2014 and has been serving the Lubbock community for 5 years. Firefighter Dawson remains in surgery and in critical condition at this time. Please join us in keeping these families and our LFR family in your thoughts and prayers.
