Matt Jezic

On August 1st Matt Jezic (fiance of Kayla Lavoie) was involved in a roll over accident on his side by side. Tragically, from the accident Matt sustained major injury to his dominant hand.  In order to repair and rebuild his right hand Matt under went 11 plus hours of surgery.    His first week of recovery was in ICU at the Health Sciences Center, where they closely monitored his hand and kept him stabilized.  Week two of his hospital stay will involve a second surgery, skin grafting. 

Matt has a long road ahead of him.  His job as a mechanic will be put on hold until he can fully recover.

We are hoping to provide Matt and Kayla with fewer worries by raising funds to help with the financial strains that they will face. 

If you would like to send Matt positive messages, please feel free to do so, as keeping his spirits up is a big part of his recovery.  He might not be able to respond to all messages, but we can assure you that he is reading each and every one of them.
