Matt Johnson: Taylor & Hailey

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your outpouring of support and kindness:

I initially made this Go Fund Me with my dad, (Coach Tom White) since Matt has been a longtime volunteer and member of the Cranbrook Eagles Boxing Club. There were many people in our community wanting to give and inquiring, but not knowing where to direct their contributions. We did not anticipate the level of support it has received and as a result, Matt has asked that we let everyone know he is going to create a legacy fund in Taylor and Hailey’s name to give back to the community in times of need. Thank you so much for your kindness and contributions- it will be paid forward ❤️

On June 1st, 2023, loving and devoted father, Matt Johnson, lost his two 8 year old twin daughters, Taylor and Hailey, to a tragic accident in Jaffray as they were headed to school that morning. As one can try to imagine, this has been an absolutely devastating and heartbreaking loss for Matt, the family, and both the communities of Jaffray and Cranbrook. Matt has been a longtime volunteer for and member of the Cranbrook Eagles Boxing Club here in town, and has enriched our community of Cranbrook in so many ways. In Jaffray, Matt drove the school bus and volunteered for lunch duties at the local school to be close to his girls and help the community. Please, if you are able to, consider donating to help raise money to go towards a legacy fund for Taylor and Hailey to help the community in times of need. Our thoughts are with those affected by this unforeseeable tragedy; this has been a communal loss felt by so many, and our love goes out to anyone grieving at this time. ❤️ Thank you so much.
