Matt Jones Family Cancer Support Fund

On February 24, 2021, Matt Jones was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (GBM), a rare form of malignant brain cancer. While it is very aggressive and survival rates are typically below 10%, Matt and his family are hopeful that his participation in a clinical trial at Northwestern Memorial will result in a far better outcome than traditionally expected. Supported by his wife Sandy, son age 14 and daughter age 10, he’s facing this challenge with the grace, grit and positivity for which he is known.  

To cover the extensive medical bills, travel to and from Chicago for treatment over the next 24 months, and the family expensesattendant to a diagnosis like this, friends within and around his legislative career have started this gofundme effort to support him and his family in this hour of need.
