In Memory of Matt Jones, Father and Coach of Jordan Jones.

In memory of Matt Jones, devoted father of Jordan Jones and assistant volunteer coach to Jordan and the Pelican Park Football team. Matt passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 18. He was only 40 years old.

We, the Pelican Football Community, have been blessed to know Jordan, Crystin, and Matt for several years as Jordan started playing football at 5 years old.

Matt was always so intense and passionate not only about Jordan, but all the boys he came to know on the team. He was the biggest fan and coach, always pacing and coaching from the sideline.

We are hoping to come together as a football family to raise money to help Crystin and Jordan with any unexpected expenses that may arise from Matt's passing.

A visitation for Matt will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11 AM at Grace Funeral Home. 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
