Matt was such an asshole….
Now before you stop reading, let me elaborate…
Matt was honest. He was straight-forward. He was opinionated.
Some people would say those characteristics made him an asshole…he would call himself one…but to those of us that knew him, these traits were what made him strong. These traits were what made him a leader. These traits were what made him who he was.
Although a little “rough around the edges”, Matt was kind hearted. He was family oriented. He was absolutely hilarious. He had good morals. He was American. And above all else, he was a great man.
This man could talk your ear off about food, advertising, politics, stocks, trucks, sports, gambling, and above almost everything…he could talk your ear off about hunting…this man loved to hunt.
He would tell you about his “hot spots” for the biggest bucks, the best way to “bait” a deer, or the best way to make some jerky…he loved his time in the wilderness, it almost made him who he is…
There’s only one thing you could tell this man loved more than hunting…and that was his wife and two boys that he left behind…
Matt would talk about those boys and how he was looking forward to all of the hunting they would do…and how he couldn’t wait until they started dating, or he would get to throw his first fireworks show with them….
He would tell you about how he was the real “softy” parent, because his wife was such a strong, independent woman…and the kids really feared her, not him…he would tell you how much he respected her raising the boys while working and while he worked 6 days a week…
That family has suffered such a great loss. We have all suffered such a great loss…

Matt was a GREAT MAN.
The purpose of this “go fund me page” is to raise funds to help support those two boys left behind. And that strong, independent woman.
Matt was young. At 40 years old, he had so many things he still dreamed of accomplishing…
The purpose of this page is so that his sons can continue dreaming. To ease the burden left with his wife.
Their pain can not be imagined…
And the deepest sorrows go out to them.
All we can do is try to help support them.
All we can do is what Matt would’ve done…make an inappropriate joke to make them smile, and donate some money to help them keep going.
