One of my best friends, Matt Morgan, was involved in a serious mountain biking accident on Saturday October 5th and is in intensive care at a WV hospital.
He fractured his C5 vertebrae and is possibly paralyzed from the chest down. He had to be life-flighted to Charleston WV and will be life-flighted to Shepherd Center as soon as he is stable.
Matt and his family have dedicated their lives to serving others for the past few years as house parents for teenage boys and families in crisis at the Eagle Ranch in Flowery Branch, GA. Their Christian leadership and willingness to sacrifice personal gains for the benefit of others speaks volumes about him and his family.
They will need a tremendous amount of personal and financial support immediately and going forward.
