Help Matt's Family Heal and Rebuild

Donation protected
On Friday, April 4, our beloved Matthew Nolan passed away, leaving behind a heartbroken family, a wide circle of friends, and a life story marked by courage, creativity, and kindness.

Matt was a devoted husband to Jenny and a loving father to their two beautiful daughters, Annie and Katie. He found the love of his life ten years ago, and from that moment on, Jenny, Annie, and Katie became the center of his world. He cherished every moment with them, from everyday laughs to big family milestones. His girls were his proudest accomplishment.

Matt was known for his entrepreneurial spirit—running multiple successful businesses while still finding the time to host a podcast where he shared his passion for fitness, trivia, and the occasional movie quote. He was a true original: irreverent, warm, generous, and deeply caring. He had an unmatched talent for making people feel seen and heard, often offering support before anyone even asked. He’d give you the shirt off his back—and probably a fresh pair of Air Max 90s to go with it.

He was also a caregiver, a friend-magnet, a golf fanatic, a health nut with a notorious sweet tooth, and someone who left behind not just memories, but a legacy—especially through his podcast and YouTube videos, created in part as something his daughters could always turn to.

Matt was the rock of his family, their provider and protector. With his sudden passing, Jenny now faces the overwhelming responsibility of managing all household expenses, medical and funeral costs, and the future educational needs of their daughters on her own.

I’m Matt’s mother-in-law. My daughter Jenny was his wife. Matt was a great son-in-law. He found and renovated my current home and had everything completed before I moved back to CT. He has done so many things for me in the short 10 years that I’ve known him. And everything was always done with a smile.
We are concerned that Jenny will receive massive medical bills as a result of Matt’s 7 1/2 weeks in the hospital. Matt was the primary breadwinner for the family. Jenny is a high school Math teacher. A two-income family has suddenly been reduced to one. Their daughters are 7 and 4 and will likely have expanding expenses as they get older. This fundraiser has been established to assist Jenny with expenses and some sense of financial stability for the immediate future.

The response to this request has become unimaginable. Over 600 people have responded in less than a week.

Our anticipation is that Jenny will work with a financial advisor to come up with a plan for the best way to protect her money and help it grow.

This GoFundMe has been set up to support Jenny, Annie, and Katie in this unimaginable time. Every donation—big or small—will help ease the financial burden and allow this beautiful family the space to grieve, heal, and eventually rebuild.

Matt gave so much of himself to those around him. Now we have a chance to give something back—to honor his memory, and to care for the family he loved so deeply.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
