Matt Parowski Family Support Fund

Matt Parowski passed away early in the morning of Pentecost Sunday, after a five month fight with a rare and aggressive form of bone and blood cancer: Multiple Myeloma and Plasma Cell Leukemia. He received the sacraments shortly before leaving this world and died in the arms of his beloved wife Alicia Joy (Dugas). Matt and Alicia Joy have 5 children, ages 9, 7, 5, 2 and a 5 month old born 1 1/2 weeks before Matt’s first hospital admission and initial diagnosis.  

As she and her children adapt to life without their loving husband and father, there are many aspects of the Parowski's daily crosses that we cannot control, as much as we would like to. But one thing that we CAN take off their plate is the stress of finances. Over the coming months and years, there will be the existing bills, funeral expenses, plus new costs for more expensive health insurance, reliable childcare, schooling help, cleaning help, etc. Our goal with this fundraiser is to handle at least 9-12 months worth of expenses for the Parowski family and allow them to wait just a bit longer before needing to dip into the available funds from Matt's life insurance and retirement funds.
