On December 3, 2018 one of my best friends, Matt Pinfield was struck by a car and suffered serious injuries. Many of you know Matt. He has been a staple in the music scene for over 35 years and also one of the kindest and nicest guys you have ever met. I first met Matt back in 1990 at the Melody Bar in New Brunswick, NJ. At the time he was a DJ at 106.3 FM in NJ. I introduced myself to him and he immediately became my friend and here we are almost 29 years later and we are not only like Brothers, but we work together every once in a while.
Matt is probably most recognizable as the Host of "120 Minutes" on MTV in the 90's. He also has a multiple radio shows and it is almost impossible to be around anything related to Alternative Rock without bumping into Matt or Matt's voice. He has entertained us all for Decades and has a ridiculous knowledge of Music and anything- Pop Culture.
Matt needs our help. Due to his current state, he will have a long road to recovery. He probably won't be able to work full time for quite sometime and will need physical therapy to recover from his injuries.
