Matt Roberts

As many of you know Matt Roberts was shot multiple times last week while trying to help a stranded motorist. As more details are coming out, it is important for us to show our support to Matt and to his family while they are navigating through this unforseen detour that life has brought. Everything received will go directly to Matt and Linda to help while Matt is recovering. God is in control and Jesus will continue to see them through. We may not understand the why's but God's plans are bigger than our own.

For those who don't know me, Jeremy Adkisson, I go to church with Matt and his family at Hazelwood Baptist. When I first heard the news, I just wanted to help. There was nothing I could physically do so I prayed like many of you did. Matt still has many obstacles to overcome and I am thankful he has so many people who love and care for him to help show him support. All funds will be directly transferred to the family so they can allocate it where they feel it is most needed.
