Matt Rutledge

Hi, My name is Patty. I am Matt Rutledge's mother-in-law (Kara's mom).

As many of you know, Matt was in a terrible car accident on November 16. He has been in a coma in the ICU since then. He has brain trauma and nine bone fractures, including two breaks in his left arm, two breaks in his left leg, and his right ankle is also broken. We are all still hopeful for a full recovery.

However, Matt has a long medical road ahead of him. He will need surgery on his broken legs and arm. He will need therapy and rehabilitation services to help him recover and relearn how to do everyday things. His medical bills are adding up and will continue to add up.

Kara spends her days working and then driving to the hospital to be with Matt. She usually eats at the hospital. This also adds expenses.

Kara does not like asking for money to help. But I know she will never be able to pay for all of this alone. I know that she has a lot of family and friends who would like to help her and that this would help her very much.

We are very grateful for every donation, no matter how small.
