Matt “Silver” Leik needs a Liver Transplant

Hi, I am Tara and my best friend of over 20+ years is Matthew “Silver” Leik. He recently was told that he is in dire need of a liver transplant. This came after months of unknown sickness that he has had countless hospital stays for. But finally he was transferred to UT southwestern in Dallas Texas and was given the news! Either new liver or potentially only 3 months to live. We are fortunate to have medical insurance that is approving this but the extra cost of being 6 hours from home in Dallas for an extended time is daunting. I am considered his support person aka his caregiver during this time so it’s imperative I am with Matt during this process. We will need food, housing and other expenses during our stay in Dallas for his transplant. Th good news is this can be as quick as a week to a month for him to get his new liver. Unfortunately this makes it impossible for us to save up the money for these immediate expenses. Any little bit will help us on this journey! We know god will provide so we are just asking for the community to come together to help us any way they can! Thank you and god bless!
