Hello everyone! My name is Matt Carter and I'm using this page to raise money for my 2014 tour/camp fees for Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps. ANY amount big or small is appreciated.
A little bit about me: I've been a Drum Major since 2010 when I started at Dobyns-Bennett High School Band. I continued with the band as Drum Major from Sophomore to Senior year until I graduated and marched Music City Drum Corps for the 2013 season as an assistant Drum Major, with many thanks to those who donated and supported me. Afterwards, I began working back with Dobyns-Bennett Band as a visual tech. and Drum Major consultant.
Since then, I have been selected as one of the Drum Majors for Spirit of Atlanta 2014!
ANY DONATION IS ACCEPTED AND GREATLY APPRECIATED! I'm required to pay $425 a month + $100 a month for camp fees = $525/month to keep my spot at Spirit. 10 people giving $10 pays one of my camp fees!
Marching drum corps has been an amazing chapter in my life. I've gained a new family, friends, and home away from home while performing for thousands of fans all over the country, & most of all drum corps has taught me more about myself as a person and performer than I could have imagined.
I wouldn't be able to do any of it without the support of my friends, teachers, and most importantly my family. So regardless of your decision, thank you for your consideration and support!!
