Matteo's Battle

Hi, my name is Anai and I'm fundraising for my little cousin Matteo.

Let me tell you a little bit about Matteo...

Matteo is a brilliant, filled with life, charismatic young man. He LOVES playing soccer, being outside, and running around with his little brother. Life for this little boy was excellent and filled with so much happiness. Then, everything changed on Monday, August 29th. A simple "cough" turned into a child's worst nightmare. Eleven days before Matteo's 7th birthday, he was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, attacking his T-cells.

As parents, we try to plan and prepare for life and life with children. We try to make the best decisions for our family and work extremely hard to give our family the best life possible. We think we've prepared for everything, but NOBODY will ever be ready for the challenges cancer brings you and your family.

I'm creating this fundraiser to help Pablo and Jennifer have one less thing to worry about. With regular doctor appointments, chemotherapy, and hospital visits, the hours Jennifer and Pablo could work will need to be decreased. Their focus should be on Matteo and his recovery. Not on the financial burden.
