Matthew Burdette Funeral and Family Expenses
Donation protected
UPDATE:
I’m sad to report that on 7/17/2022 Matthew lost his battle and succumbed to the medical issues that plagued him. Even the greatest warriors need rest and he’s been fighting for such a long time.
The family still needs your support! The funeral is expensive and Elisha will need financial support without Matt until she can get on her feet. We want to help Elisha, Ashlyn, Dave and Emily. Please donate today to help out!! Also! Thank you so much for all that have donated.
Hi my name is Jason Franks, I'm a lifelong friend and adopted family member of Matt and Elisha Burdette. Matthew and Elisha have endured many years of medical struggles with Matthew's diabetes and conditions resulting from diabetes. Several years ago he had a kidney transplant and struggled to recover from that but pushed through like the warrior he is and recovered. He then got an infection on his spinal cord and lost the use of his legs. Most recently he was rushed to Vanderbilt to find out that his heart was only working at 10%. The doctors had to put 6 stents in to open up the blood flow because he had 100% blockage in 2 arteries nad 90% in a third. The stent in one of his arteries collapsed and resulted in emergency surgery to open it back up.
Matt and Elisha are the good ones, they are some of the most loving and caring people you will ever meet and now they need our help and need our financial support to get through this time. Please consider donating to them. I have talked with them and I have received their blessing to open this Gofundme.
If you would rather donate through Venmo or CashApp, please send it with the subject of "FOR MATT" to:
Venmo: @JBFRANKS
CashApp: $jasonbfranks
All money collected will go to the family to use how they need it the most.
Thank you!
