The Da Silveira Family - Honouring Matt

A huge thank you for the donations so far for Melissa, Tessa and Hunter.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Matthew da Silveira will be held on Friday, the 9th of August at St Leonard’s Church, corner New St and Wolseley Grove, Brighton at 2pm.

Hi everyone,

We are fundraising to support the family of our good friend Matthew Da Silveira who sadly unexpectedly passed away on Monday the 22nd of July 2024 at the age of 51.

Heartbreakingly sudden and unexpected; Melissa will now raise Hunter (Year 8) and Tessa (Year 5) without Matt.

Matt and Melissa have been tireless members of the Hampton Primary School, Hampton Central Cricket Club and Hampton Rovers performing countless volunteer roles over the last decade contributing in spades to the Hampton Community we love.

Matt was a wonderfully giving person who was in his element at a function helping tirelessly to ensure everyone had the best time possible.

Whilst reluctant to seek help, any donations big or small to help to ease the financial strain will allow them to focus on healing and enjoying invaluable quality time together.

All funds raised will be distributed to Melissa in full to cover the immediate and ongoing expenses she will have for herself and the kids over the coming weeks and months. It is also hoped that the money raised will allow Melissa to help herself and the kids adjust to life without their Dad.
