Matthew Duran

Hello family and friends, early Friday morning on 9/29/23 we unexpectedly lost our beloved, Matthew Duran at the very young age of 17 years old. Those of you who knew Matthew knew he was an amazing and kind person, he had such a big heart & soul and he loved his family very much. He was so pure and had big goals and plans for his future. He had a great love for the Lord and was studying the bible, the last chapter he left off on was John 14:1-4: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

We are devastated and heartbroken but find comfort in knowing how close he drew to God and knowing he is in heaven looking upon us.

Due to this being completely unexpected, we are asking for your help to raise funds for his funeral expenses, we understand that many may not be able to donate, so your condolences and prayers are equally appreciated.
